Union Budget Mobile App: Only a few days are left for the presentation of Budget 2023. Meanwhile, the Union Finance Ministry has announced that this year's budget will be presented in paperless form. This time also the same process will be followed which was started during the Kovid-19 pandemic. During that time, the central government had announced to adopt the paperless form of the budget . The Finance Ministry has given information about this by tweeting. He told that “Like the last two Union Budgets, the Union Budget 2023-24 will also be presented in paperless form. The Union Budget 2023-24 will be presented on 1 February 2023.

The Ministry told that the Halwa Ceremony will be held today for the process of preparation for the final stage of the budget. Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will also be present on this occasion.

Halwa Ceremony

The Halwa Ceremony marking the last stage of the budget preparation process for the Union Budget 2023-24 will be held today in the presence of Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The Finance Ministry said that this ceremony will be held in the budget press inside the North Block. Apart from Nirmala Sitharaman, other senior members of the government such as Minister of State for Finance, Union Ministers and officials of the Ministry of Finance will also attend the Halwa Ceremony.

How to read Union Budget on mobile

After the budget speech by the Union Finance Minister on February 1, the budget documents will be available on the Union Budget Mobile App. The apps are available for download on both the Android Play Store and Apple's App Store.

The application was designed and developed by the National Informatics Center (NIC) and is managed by the Department of Economic Affairs under the Ministry of Finance.

Users will be able to read the information given on the app comfortably as it will be given in different sections and it will also be available in PDF format.

Downloaded more than 1 lakh times on Android, the application can be read by users in both Hindi and English languages.
