Government agency raised questions on the safety of iPhone .. warned of great danger

CERT-in has raised questions on the security of other Apple products including the iPhone. According to the government agency, some defects have been found in these products, due to which the users may have to suffer. See here for which Apple users CERT-in has issued a warning.

However, the latest warning from the government agency Indian Computer Emergency Response Team ( CERT-In ) has given sleepless nights to Apple users. According to CERT-In, a major flaw has been found in some old models of iPhone and iPad, due to which the users may have to bear the brunt.

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), working under the Indian Electronics and Information Technology Ministry, has warned Apple users about a major threat. CERT-In has detected a security flaw in Apple's older device. If this is not rectified then the users may have to face big losses.

Threat to these devices of Apple

A major threat has emerged for the device running on the iOS 12.5.7 operating system. Be careful if you use iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3 and iPod Touch (6th generation). If there is a flaw in your phone, then hackers can attack the device through arbitrary code, due to which you may be harmed.

Apple released updates

According to the report of HT Tech, CERT-In says that this flaw is a big threat to the devices that are running on iOS version lower than iOS 15.1. Let us tell you that Apple has already released the support of iOS 16.3 for modern devices. At the same time, the company has released iOS 12.5.7 patch for older devices. These update patches should be downloaded to protect your device from any danger.

If you are using the device mentioned above, go to 'Settings' and click on the 'General' tab. After that click on 'Software Update' and wait till the notification arrives. Now download and install this update by entering the passcode.
