Apps Location Android: Arrka's 2022 Data Privacy Report is based on 200 mobile apps and websites. It has been revealed that mobile apps can see the location of users' phones on a large scale.

Apps Location Access: In the era of technology, it has become very difficult for users to save privacy. If you use a smartphone, then many apps keep an eye on you. They even see your location no matter where you go or where you are. The latest report by Arrka has confirmed that nowadays mobile apps can see the location of users in the name of location access. The limit is when you do not even use the apps and still these apps see your location.

The 2022 edition of Arrka's State of Data Privacy is based on 200 mobile apps and websites. These include 100 Indian organizations of 25 sectors and 76 organizations of America and Britain. In this report, the study of 30 apps for children has been done in different categories. It has been revealed in this report that apart from the location of the users, mobile apps also have access to things like camera and microphone.

81 percent of the apps have access to the camera. (only while using the app)

90 percent of the apps have access to Photos. (read and write access to photos)

64 percent of the apps have access to the microphone.

49 percent of apps have access to read contacts.

36 percent of apps have access to the calendar.

Seeing this report, the Indian organization has a chance to stand together on the issue of privacy. The picture that is being seen at the moment is not encouraging.
