Budget 2023: Halwa Ceremony started again after Corona, Finance Minister will start the budget tomorrow

Halwa ceremony is celebrated every year before the presentation of the budget. This protocol was not followed last time due to Corona, but, this time this pudding ceremony will be celebrated.

Halwa Ceremony is always organized after the completion of the budget preparation. For this reason, Halwa Ceremony is also considered as an indicator of the completion of the budget. In this, along with the Finance Minister, all the senior officials of the Finance Ministry are involved. In order to avoid leaking the information related to the budget, 100 employees, including senior officials, stay in the premises of the Finance Ministry and leave only after the presentation of the budget by the Finance Minister.
