Human rights violations of protesters-journalists in Iran, UNHRC will convene a special session

For the last nearly two months, the serious situation in Iran has remained, now the United Nations Human Rights Commission is going to convene a special session on this condition.

Hijab controversy in Iran is not taking its name. On the one hand , the government of Iran is not ready to accept this issue, while the protesters are still not allowing the issue of hijab to calm down. This situation has remained the same for the last almost 2 months. Now the United Nations Human Rights Commission is going to call a special session on this situation in Iran . In fact, on September 16, a young woman was arrested by Iran's Dharmachar police. The girl was accused by the police that she violated the dress code. Means she is not wearing hijab properly.

The police kept this young woman named Mehsa Amini in custody for 3-4 days. Where he died under suspicious circumstances. After her death, many women came forward and demonstrated against the hijab all over the country and the world. In Iran too, many organizations continue to demonstrate. There have also been violent clashes between the police and the protesters many times. So far 328 people have died in it. At the same time, about 15 thousand people have been detained.

The concerns of the United Nations Human Rights Organization have increased on this. In such a situation, this special session can be organized on 24 November. Germany has initiated this. A letter was written by Germany to the United Nations, which read, 'A request was made to hold a special session to 'deal with the deteriorating human rights situation in Iran, especially with respect to women and children'.

Violation of human rights

So far, about 15,000 people have been arrested in the agitation that erupted after the death of Mahsa Amini. These include many social workers and journalists. They have been kept in jail without any charge. They are not being prosecuted of any kind. Violent action is also being taken against the protesters.
