The Shraddha murder case in Delhi's Mehrauli has now reached the High Court. Even though the Delhi Police is claiming to have disclosed the matter, the Delhi High Court's lawyer has accused the Delhi Police of media trial, terming it as propaganda. The lawyer has filed a PIL in the High Court to get the matter investigated by the CBI. It is said that more than six months have passed since this incident. Since the Delhi Police does not have enough resources to properly investigate the matter. In such a situation, this matter should be immediately handed over from Delhi Police to CBI. The High Court has accepted the petition.
The petitioner has written in his PIL that the Delhi Police is also making the sensitive details of the matter public in the media. Due to this, the general public is being mobilized during the search for clues in the case. Even the details of the court hearing are becoming public. Apart from clues and evidence, there is a possibility of influencing the witnesses. This can also affect the nature of the case. He alleged that despite being such a serious matter, Delhi Police has not even sealed the places related to this incident. Due to this, there has been a continuous visit of the media or the general public to these places. This is a case of extreme negligence.
