Vande Bharat Express accident victim for the second consecutive day, then collided

Vande Bharat Express got damaged for the second time in two days. The train collided with a cow near Anand station in Gujarat. The express train was also damaged a day before due to the collision of 4 buffaloes.

The Vande Bharat Express collided with a cow on Friday near Anand station in Gujarat , causing minor damage to the front of the train. The driver of the train was fully alert at the time of the accident. He immediately blew the train whistle and applied the brakes, but the response time was short. The accident happened between Gandhinagar-Mumbai. This is the second accident in two days. A day earlier i.e. on Thursday, the newly launched semi-high speed train collided with four buffaloes. In which only the front part of the train was damaged. Which was dispatched after 20 minutes.

According to the railway official, there was no major damage to the train in the incident, except a small dent on its front panel. The incident took place on Friday afternoon at 3:48 pm near Anand, about 432 km from Mumbai. This was confirmed by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway. He told that a small dent has come in the front part of the train. All passengers are safe. Let us tell you that on September 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the semi-high speed train. After 6 days, the train is becoming a victim of accident twice in a row. Fortunately, there was no harm to the passengers in the accident that happened on both the days.

Overnight was repaired in Express Coaching Care Center

In the accident that happened the previous day, only some part of the front of the train was damaged. The passengers were dispatched in 20 minutes after making necessary repairs without any damage. This train was dispatched shortly after it was damaged. After that the front portion of the damaged Vande Bharat Express was repaired overnight at the Coaching Care Center. Work is being done to increase the speed of the Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad section train up to 160 kmph and avoid such incidents in future.

FIR registered against owner of buffalo

A case has been registered against the owners of the buffaloes that collided with the Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express on Thursday. The help of local police is being taken to arrest the owners. It is known that the accident took place between Gairatpur and Vatva station.
