Sonali Phogat dies of heart attack, why is heart disease increasing so fast?

Sonali Phogat passed away in Goa. Heart attack is said to be the cause of his death. Even before Sonali, many famous people have died due to heart disease.

BJP leader and actress Sonali Phogat has passed away due to heart attack . She went to Goa with her staff members. There he died. Sonali said goodbye to the world at the age of 42. Shortly before this, singer KK, actors Siddharth Shukla and Puneet Rajkumar have also died of heart disease. BMC figures show that the death toll due to heart diseases has increased in the recent past. According to the BMC, between January 2021 and June 2021 in Mumbai, 3 thousand people have died due to heart attack every month. Last year this number was only 500.

In the case of heart disease, it is said that people who take a good diet and get regular health checkups are not at risk of heart disease. But now it is seen that even physically fit people are getting attacked and they are dying. Earlier heart disease used to occur in more than 60 age, but now this disease is catching in less than 50 age. The death toll due to heart attack is also increasing, but what is the reason for this? Why heart disease is increasing so fast now and why are people falling prey to it at an early age.

Why are fit people also getting heart attacks?

Dr. Chinmaya Gupta, Director, Indo European Health Care, says that nowadays youth take many types of medicines and steroids to make a body and to make themselves look fit and smart. Due to this people look fit from outside, but their heart has become weak. Consumption of these drugs has a direct effect on the function of the heart. Due to which there is a possibility of attack.

According to Dr. Gupta, the occurrence of heart attack also depends on genetic reasons. If someone in the family has had heart disease before, then it can happen to another member as well. People who have a habit of drinking too much alcohol and those who smoke or any other intoxicant also get heart disease. The person who has all these factors can have an attack even at a young age and it causes death.

Dr. Chinmoy says that cases are increasing due to lack of attention to the symptoms of heart disease. There is a lack of awareness among people about this. Pain in the chest is often ignored as gas pain, but it should not be done.

If a person is sweating without reason, pain in the chest and left shoulder, feeling restless, then immediately go to the hospital. There should not be any negligence in this matter.

Is covid also the reason for this?

According to Dr. Ajit Kumar of the Department of Cardiology, Rajiv Gandhi Hospital, cardiovascular diseases have increased after the corona epidemic. After the infection of Kovid, people are facing the problem of cothromboembolism. Due to this, blood clots in the arteries of the heart and the supply of blood to the heart is not done properly. Which leads to an attack.

Pulmonary embolism disease is also being seen after recovering from corona. In this, blood clots are formed in the lungs, due to which breathing is not able to come properly and in many cases sudden death also occurs. In some cases, patients also develop ventricular fibrillation. In this situation, the heart beat suddenly becomes very fast. Blood pumping happens rapidly in the heart. Due to this the heart cannot function properly. This problem keeps on increasing gradually. This also leads to sudden high BP which causes death.

Take care of your heart like this

Dr. Gupta has given these ways to avoid heart disease.

Take care of your diet.

Include adequate amount of protein and vitamins in the diet.

Reduce the amount of salt and flour in the diet.

Do not drink alcohol and avoid the addiction of smoking.
