Haunted Jail: This is the most scary jail, where the souls of the prisoners used to tremble

America Most Haunted Jail: There is a prison called Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia, America. This prison is considered to be America's most scary and haunted prison. 142 years have passed since this prison was built, now the pictures inside here tell the story of the torture of the prisoners. Al Capone, the most dreaded criminal in American history, has also been kept in this prison. This lockhouse was home to some of America's most violent and corrupt criminals.

hours a visitor spent in the cell

According to the Daily Star report, a visitor reached the place and saw many examples of torture, isolation, disease, murder and insanity. The history of this dilapidated building is so gruesome that it is often seen as one of the horror stories told about the prison. The mysterious explorer who arrived here, requesting anonymity, said they spent hours here with rotting walls and broken furniture.

The crumbling walls tell the story

He revealed that I spent nearly three hours exploring the cell inside the eastern state and photographing everything from crumbling walls, to feces and beds and paint stripped from the walls. I sat inside a cell imagining what the prisoners must have felt.

Torture was done with water

This visitor said that the walls and floors here contain history. Even the steel beds tell a story. None of us can really imagine about this prison. Prisoners were punished with water here. They were first immersed and then hung on the wall until ice formed on their skin.

Jail was opened in 1829

He was tied so tightly to the chair that the skin of the body was cut. When this prison was opened in 1829, it was one of the most expensive constructions in the country at that time. Prisoners then used to sit in their cells for 23 hours a day. Sitting in these cells, it seems as if every rotting wall is falling on you.
