Restrict the intake of carbohydrates- Eating at the right time is important for weight maintenance and reduction. One needs to be aware of the importance of proper food along with sleep and exercise to control the glucose level. Our body breaks down carbohydrates into glucose, and insulin later helps the body use and store it for energy. This process fails when there is a problem with the work of insulin or when there is a problem with the work of insulin and there is a sudden increase in the glucose level. Control of carbohydrate intake is necessary to control the glucose level. Monitor your glucose level regularly and keep in touch with your doctor.


Take good sleep and sleep a little early- It is important for our health to get good sleep. Lack of rest and poor sleep habits can affect insulin sensitivity and blood glucose levels. This appetite can become old, which leads to weight gain. Sleep deprivation results in a decrease in the growth of hormones and an increase in cortisol levels. Therefore it is better to get enough sleep every night for 7-8 hours. 


Exercise to control stress, diabetes- both work and exercise from home is possible. Spot walking or jogging can be done at home. For those who feel that they should go out, brisk walking, jogging while maintaining social distancing is recommended. Do exercises like push-ups, pull-ups, squats at home. Spend a good time with family and friends on the phone or via video. As we know stress affects the glucose level, so love yourself which will help in creating inner peace. Meditation, yoga postures will also keep you away from stress.
