Shocking news has come out from Nashik. Here 30 new cases of Delta Variant have been reported. Of these, 28 cases have come from rural areas. According to Dr. Kishore Srinivas, surgeon of Nashik District Hospital, 30 people from Nashik were found to be corona positive. After this their report was sent to the lab in Pune for genome sequencing. In the report from there, it has been confirmed to be a delta variant.
Delta variant found in 30 patients out of 155 patients' swabs
Swabs of five percent of the total corona infected patients from different districts are sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune for examination. Corona virus is changing its form from time to time, genome sequencing test is done to get information about the changing form. Delta variant has been found in 30 patients out of 155 swabs sent from Nashik district in the last 15 days.
In this context, District Magistrate Suraj Mandhare said that despite having delta variant in 30 people, this variant delta plus variant is not so deadly. So there is no need to panic right away. The health department and administration are ready to handle the situation. The only request to the common people is to be more alert, take care of the corona rules.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), delta variants that are more deadly and more rapidly spreading than the original corona virus have been found in 135 countries so far. Meanwhile, by next week, the number of corona infected worldwide may reach 200 million. This information has come to the fore through the weekly update released by WHO on 3 August. Patients of Corona Beta Variant have been found in 132 countries worldwide. Cases of Corona Gama Variant have been reported in 81 countries. Cases of Corona Alpha Variant have been reported in 182 countries. According to this update of WHO, between July 26 and August 1, more than 40 lakh corona cases have been registered.
