Cases are increasing worldwide: WHO Chief
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, head of the World Health Organization, said that once again the cases of corona infection are increasing rapidly in the world. According to him, the last week was the fourth consecutive week, within which an increase was seen in the corona cases coming across the world. At the same time, after a decline of 10 weeks, there is also an increase in the deaths due to corona. According to Tedross, the virus is constantly changing its form, due to which new variants can appear. He said these things while addressing the Emergency Committee.

Tedross also said before the committee that the Delta variant could prove to be the deadliest variant in the times to come. Because, so far it has spread rapidly in 111 countries and is playing the most important role in the increasing cases of corona. But by taking care of social distancing, masks and vaccines, we can stop these increasing cases here and we have done this before.
