New Delhi: Veteran Congress leader Virbhadra Singh, who had been the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh 6 times, died on Thursday morning after prolonged illness. 87-year-old Virbhadra Singh breathed his last at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital Shimla. The information about his death has been shared by the Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Janak Raj.
Janak Raj told that former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh died due to multi-organ failure at around 4 am in the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Shimla. Virbhadra Singh was earlier found corona infected and was admitted to Max Hospital for treatment on 13 April.
Let us inform that after recovering from corona infection, he was discharged from the hospital, after which his health once again deteriorated and he was admitted to Indira Gandhi Medical College Hospital. Here he was also on ventilator for the last 2 days. Let us tell you that Virbhadra Singh is counted among the veteran leaders of Congress. He has been the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh for 6 times.
