Keeping in view the increasing number of infected, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal on Thursday at 11 am.
CM Kejriwal, after meeting with the Lieutenant Governor, also held talks with Health Minister, Chief Secretary and senior officials about the current situation of Corona at 12 o'clock.
Corona's record breaking case in Delhi
During the last 24 hours in Delhi, 17 thousand 282 new cases of corona have come. The rate of infection in the capital has also increased to 15.92 percent. This is the first time since November 15 last year, when the rate of infection has reached close to 16 percent. It is a matter of concern that with the rate of infection, the death toll has also crossed 100. On Wednesday, 104 patients died. On Tuesday, 13 thousand 468 cases were received. The number of infected patients is increasing as fast as the death toll is also increasing. And the rate of recovery of patients is continuously decreasing.
746 Containment Zone to be built in 24 hours
The number of containment zones is increasing rapidly in almost all areas of Delhi. The situation has become so bad that in the last 24 hours 746 Containment Zones have been created in the whole of Delhi. This time the havoc of infection is being seen more in the posh areas of Delhi. The pace of transition is the fastest in southern districts. The highest 169 containment zones have been built here in 24 hours.
