Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the deputy ruler of Dubai (Dubai) and Finance Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has passed away. 
He was 75 years old. His brother gave information about it on Wednesday. Sheikh Hamdan served as the deputy ruler of Dubai under his brother. His brother Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE.

The Emirati authorities informed Sheikh Hamdan's demise without giving a reason for the death. Sheikh Hamdan was not doing well for the last few months. He was also ill for a long time. Recently he went abroad for a surgery. At the same time, his brother Sheikh Mohammed tweeted a prayer while praying for his safety. Sheikh Hamdan was born on 25 December 1949. He was the son of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum.

According to Dubai government media, only family members will attend Sheikh Hamdan's funeral. This is being done in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic. Also, government offices will be closed due to three days of mourning. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi expressed grief over the demise of Sheikh Hamdan, saying, "Today we have lost one of the most loyal people of the UAE, who showed his patriotism throughout his life."
