Nitin Gadkari's big announcement: Roads like US and European countries will be built in next three years

You may also be looking at the glittering roads in foreign countries and wondering how good it would be if such roads were also in our country.
However, now you are going to have a pleasant experience of similar roads in India as well. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has claimed that within the next three years, India's roads will be similar to those of the US and European countries.

At the Economic Conclave 2021 organized by CII in Delhi, Union Minister Gadkari said that this time, the Modi government will make India's roads like the US and other European countries before the end of its term. The central government is building 35 km of roads every day. The target of building 40 km of roads per day will soon be achieved. Even in the Corona period, the government has registered an increase of Rs 10,000 crore in toll collection.

NHAI will raise Rs 1 lakh crore for speedy construction of roads

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said the National Highways Authority of India is working on a target of raising Rs one lakh crore over the next five years. This money will accumulate from the stock market. He also asked the industries to come forward and take advantage of the investment. This will accelerate growth and the use of funds will be financed by infrastructure.

The amount will be collected by selling or leasing the top plaza

"The NHAI is planning to raise Rs 1 lakh crore in the next five years by bringing roads to market through toll collection operations and transfers," Union Minister Nitin Gadkari told a conference on industry. The minister said that bringing the property to the market, selling or leasing it is a good opportunity for the industry. At the same time, this step will help in extracting the structural investment value of the government.
