IPL auction 2021: Chris Morris breaks Yuvraj Singh's record, becomes the most expensive player in IPL history


South African fast bowler Chris Morris has become the most expensive player in IPL history. 
He broke Yuvraj Singh's record of 16 crores. Chris Morris was bought by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2021 auction for Rs 16.25 crore. The base price of Maurice was Rs 75 lakh. He was with Royal Challengers Bangalore last season. At that time he was bought for Rs 10 crore. In IPL 2020, he played nine matches and took 11 wickets. His economy was less than seven. Also the strike rate was also good.
