Researchers at the Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health analyzed the diet, age, physical activity, routine, sleep quality, and cigarette-alcohol addiction as well as dress of men experiencing fertility problems.
Men wearing loose shorts instead of tight underwear, meanwhile, had a 17 percent increase in sperm count. In addition, the ability of these sperms to reach the ovaries and fertilize them was found to be 33 percent higher.
The production of sperm in men depends on the temperature of the genitals, according to lead researcher Professor Alan Pacey. When it is above 34 degrees Celsius, the brain reduces the secretion of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone).
FSH is a hormone that indicates the production of sperm to the genitals. It is found in men wearing tight underwear up to 14 percent less.
The improvement comes in three months
