Team India's young wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant caught two catches by Kangaroo opener Will Pukowski, who was playing his debut match on the first day of the Sydney Test against Australia, after which the batsman played an innings of 62 runs.
Rishabh Pant brought Will Pukowski to life in the last ball of the 22nd over off Ravichandran Ashwin. Pant caught Pukowski. Pukowski was playing at 26 at the time.
Then Rishabh Pante Mo. Pukowski was once again brought to life in the final ball of the 25th over thrown by Siraj. Pant caught Pukowski again. Before the tea break, when Pukowski was playing at 42, he barely escaped being run out. However, after the tea break, Pukowski was bowled out for 62 by India's debutant Navdeep Saini.
Australia scored 148 for 2 in the first innings of the third Test. Steve Smith is on 24 and Marnus Labushen is on 56. Pukowski became the 92nd Australian to score a half-century in a Test debut.
After India lost the toss, David Warner took the wicket in the third ball of the fourth over. Warner's wicket was taken by Mohammad Siraj. Pukowski then LDWed Navdeep Saini.
