Recruitment for 100 posts in Information Department, apply this way

 


The Government of Gujarat is continuously increasing the scope of employment for the purpose of providing employment to the youth. The state government has recently announced advertisements for various posts of government posts in different departments. The state government today announced advertisements for 100 posts in various categories of working journalists and information department for the youth in the field of journalism.

  • Deputy Director of Information Class-1 - 8 posts
  • Assistant Director of Information (Editing) Class-2 - 15 posts
  • Senior Sub Editor-Class-3 Cadre - 15 posts
  • Information Assistant Class-3 Cadre - 62 posts
From today, for the offices of Director of Information, Gujarat State, Gandhinagar and its affiliated offices under the control of Information and Broadcasting Department, 8 posts of Deputy Director of Information Class-1, 15 posts of Assistant Director of Information (Editing) Class-2 and a total of 15 posts of Senior Sub-Editor-Class-3 15 while online application process has been started for a total of 62 posts of Information Assistant Class-3 cadre.

Only candidates with a master's degree from a UGC recognized college-institution in the field of journalism can apply

Candidates with a Masters Degree from a UGC recognized College-Institute in the field of Journalism as per the academic qualifications prescribed for Class-I and Class-II for this recruitment process can apply for this. Candidates with Master's Degree / Bachelors Degree or Post Graduate Diploma Degree from UGC recognized College-Institute in the field of Journalism can apply as per the prescribed educational qualification for Class-III. Detailed information of which can be obtained from the notification regarding the advertisement.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit by conducting prelims examination and main examination

The recruitment process for Class-I and Class-II will be completed in a transparent manner by conducting prelims examination in the first phase, main examination in the second phase and interview in the third phase. While in the recruitment process of class-3 cadre, prelims examination will be held in the first stage and then main examination will be held in the second stage and the candidates selected on the basis of merit will be selected.
