A great opportunity has come for the youth looking for a government job in the field of medicine. Vacancy has been released for the recruitment of 600 pharmacist posts in the District Cadre. The application process for this has started from 7 January 2021. Interested candidates can submit in online application mode till 30 January.
To apply for these 600 pharmacists, visit the official website osssc.gov.in. Explain that under this vacancy, recruitment will be done by Odisha Subordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) to the posts of pharmacists in 7 medical colleges and hospitals in different districts. In these, the notification for the recruitment on contract basis was recently issued on 28 December 2020.
According to the pharmacist notification to be conducted by the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission, the students who apply are required to pass the 12th examination. Apart from this, a diploma certificate from a recognized institute from AICTE and Odisha Pharmacy Board has to be kept.
Other qualifications
For recruitment to these posts, the candidates must be registered with the Pharmacy Council. Apart from this, the age of the candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 32 years. However, provision has also been made for relaxation in maximum age limit for the candidates of reservation category as per government rules.
Selection process
The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of written examination conducted by OSSSC. This written examination will be of two hours in which a total of 100 questions will be asked from the practical skill in Pharmacy Syllabus and Maths and English section up to 10th. Keep in mind that 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
