The BCCI has announced Team India for the third Test match to be played in Sydney on January 7 . In the third Test, Team India will take the field with two changes. Star opener Rohit Sharma is back. Navdeep Saini will get a chance to make his debut in the third Test. Opener Mayank Agarwal, who failed in two Tests, has been shown the way out.
Rohit Sharma will replace Mayank Agarwal
Cases of Rohit Sharma's return were already being made. However, it was not clear whether Rohit Sharma would replace Mayank Agarwal or Hanuma Vihari. But Team India decided to give Vihari a chance.
Umesh Yadav's injury forced Team India to make one more change. Navdeep Saini has been given a chance to make his debut by Team India. Navdeep Saini will accompany Jaspreet Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj in the third Test.
The responsibility of spin bowling rests on the shoulders of R Ashwin, who is in superb form in the series. Ravindra Jadeja secured his place in the team by playing an innings all-rounder of 57 in the first Test.
There was a lot of talk about Natarajan's debut in the third Test. There were rumors that T Natarajan would get a chance to make his debut instead of Saini. But that did not happen and Natarajan will still have to wait longer to play Test cricket.
