Cuttack, Odisha: Is Red Ant Sauce Effective in Treating Corona Virus? Because now a new debate has started in Odisha on this issue. Now the High Court has asked the Ministry of AYUSH and the Director General of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) to decide on the proposal to use red ant sauce in the treatment of corona virus within 3 months. In the tribal areas of the country, red ant sauce is used as a traditional medicine.
This sauce is prepared using red ants and green chillies. Tribals in many states of the country, including Odisha and Chhattisgarh, consume this sauce for colds, coughs, shortness of breath, fatigue and other ailments.
A PIL (application) has been filed in the High Court in recent days against the inaction seen on the research proposal on the issue of the effect of red ant sauce in the treatment of corona. The High Court has now issued an order in this regard.
The petition states that the red ant sauce has many medicinal properties. This sauce has properties that help fight any type of infection in the digestive tract. This red ant sauce contains protein and calcium which help in boosting the immune system.
