Lalit Manchanda Passes Away: 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' actor Lalit Manchanda has committed suicide. On April 21, the actor's dead body was found hanging from a noose in his Meerut house. However, no suicide note was recovered from him. The police have taken the dead body of 36-year-old Lalit Manchanda into custody and sent it for post-mortem.

Initial investigation into Lalit Manchanda's death has revealed that the actor was mentally stressed. According to a report by Amar Ujala, Lalit was facing a financial crunch in Mumbai. In such a situation, he had returned to Meerut with his family about six months ago.

Cine and TV Artists Association paid tribute
The demise of Lalit Manchanda has deeply shocked the TV industry and his fans. Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) has paid tribute to Lalit by posting on its Instagram account. Sharing a picture of the actor, the association wrote - 'CINTAA expresses its condolences on the demise of Lalit Manchanda (member since 2012).'

The police have started questioning Lalit Manchanda's family and close friends. The police are trying to get to the bottom of this matter.
