Jammu Kashmir Terror Attack: So far 26 people have died in the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. After this attack, security agencies are on alert in Delhi-Mumbai along with Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has condemned this terrorist attack. He said that we stand with India.
'America stands firmly with India'
Trump said, "Very disturbing news has come from Kashmir. America stands firmly with India against terrorism. We pray for the peace of the souls of those killed and the recovery of the injured. Prime Minister Modi and the incredible people of India have our full support and deepest sympathy. Our condolences are with all of you."
US Vice President JD Vance is currently on a visit to India with his family. He has also condemned the Pahalgam attack. He said, "I offer my condolences to the victims of the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India. Over the past few days, we have been overwhelmed by the beauty of this country and its people. Our condolences and prayers are with them as they mourn this horrific attack."
Police alert in many states
After this attack, police is on alert in many states of the country including Jammu and Kashmir. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently on a visit to Saudi Arabia. Union Home Minister Amit Shah informed PM Modi about this terrorist attack. After talking to PM Modi on the phone, Home Minister Amit Shah reached Srinagar. Here he held a high level meeting with CM Omar Abdullah, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and many top officials.
After the Pahalgam terror attack, PM Modi called a meeting of the CCS. PM Modi said that whoever is involved in this attack will not be spared. He also said that the nefarious intention of the terrorists will never succeed. Home Minister Amit Shah posted on X that those involved in this heinous terror attack will not be spared and we will take strict action against the culprits.
