How to worship on the last day of Mahalakshmi fast?
On the last day of Mahalakshmi fast, clean the house thoroughly, take bath and wear clean clothes. After this, at the time of puja, place a post and spread a red cloth on it and install the picture or statue of Goddess Lakshmi and offer red chunari to her. Offer a gold or silver coin at the feet of Mata Rani. After this, tie a 16 knot thread offered to Goddess Lakshmi on your wrist at the beginning of the fast.
After this, light 16 desi ghee lamps in front of Goddess Lakshmi and worship her as per the rituals. During the worship of Goddess Lakshmi, offer fruits and white sweets to her. Apart from this, wearing red and blue colored clothes during puja is considered auspicious.
