Defeated by 2 runs in a thrilling match and secured their ticket to the semi-finals. The hero of Bangladesh team in this match was their bowlers. Ripon Mondol and Afif Hussain took 3-3 wickets for Malaysia, on the basis of which Bangladesh team won the match.

Virandeep Singh's stormy innings went in vain

Bangladesh won on the strength of Afif and Mondol
