Bharatiya Janata Party MP and Bhojpuri film actor Dinesh Lal Yadav has said that he is going to make a film on the freedom movement that contributed significantly to the country's independence. In this, the role of Ballia in the independence of the country will be highlighted and the Ballia rebellion of 1942 will be included. BJP MP from Azamgarh Nirhua disclosed this during a recent media interaction.
During a conversation with the media on Saturday night, he said- 'Since childhood, I have been talking about the rebellion of Ballia. Ballia has played a historical role in the freedom movement. Countless heroes sacrificed their lives and Ballia was liberated five years before the country got independence, which is a big deal. He said that he has been very impressed with the role of Ballia in the freedom movement and will make a film based on Ballia's revolution.
Let us tell you that a few days after the Quit India Movement started in the year 1942, many local people rebelled against the British government and raided the district jail to get the revolutionaries of that time out of jail. Freedom fighter Chittu Pandey was one of the great revolutionaries under whose leadership Ballia was declared independent on August 19, 1942, five years before official independence. However, this revolution did not last long and was soon suppressed by the British. He had regained control over Ballia.
