2nd T20I: UAE made a big upset, captain Wasim's half-century and bowlers defeated the Kiwi team by 7 wickets



The UAE team caused a big upset by defeating New Zealand by 7 wickets in the second T20 International match, with the help of a brilliant performance by the bowlers and a half-century from captain Muhammad Wasim. In this match, Mark Chapman scored a half-century for the Kiwi team, but apart from him, no other batsman could perform well and the team had to face defeat. In this match, Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bowl. 

Batting first, the Kiwi team scored 142 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Mark Chapman scored the most runs for the team. He played a half-century inning of 63 runs in 46 balls with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from him, Jimmy Neesham and Chad Bowes contributed 21(17), 21(21) runs respectively. Ayan Afzal Khan took maximum 3 wickets from UAE side. Muhammad Jawadullah was successful in taking 2 wickets. And one wicket each was taken by Ali Naseer, Mohammad Farajuddin and Zahoor Khan. 

Chasing the target, the UAE team won the match by losing 3 wickets in 15.4 overs and scoring 144 runs. The maximum runs from the team came from the bat of captain Muhammad Wasim. He played a half-century innings of 55 runs in 29 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from him, Asif Khan faced 29 balls and scored an unbeaten 48 with the help of 5 fours and a six. Tim Southee, Jimmy Neesham and Mitchell Santner got one wicket each from the Kiwi team.
