Virat Kohli created history, broke Dhoni and Shahid Afridi's unique record together

 


Indian cricket team's star batsman Virat Kohli (Virat Kohli 500th Match) made a special record in the second and last Test match against the West Indies. This is Kohli's 500th match in international cricket. He has become the fourth player from India and the tenth player in the world to reach this figure. As an Indian, only Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and Rahul Dravid are ahead of Kohli in terms of playing most international matches.

Kohli has reached number three in terms of playing 500 international matches at the youngest age. He has achieved this position at the age of 34 years 257 days. In this list, he has left behind Shahid Afridi (35 years 6 days). The record of playing 500 international matches at the youngest is in the name of Sachin Tendulkar (33 years 174 days). Mahela Jayawardene (34 years 71 days) is at number two. 

Let us tell you that after winning the toss in this match, West Indies has invited India to bat first. Fast bowler Mukesh Kumar has made his debut in this match for India. He has got a chance in the team in place of Shardul Thakur, who has been ruled out of this match due to not being fully fit.
