Rajasthan number one in rape cases, MP-UP also has surprising statistics

At the same time, the cases of crimes against women in the country increased by 15 percent in 2021 as compared to the year 2020. In the year 2020, 3,71,503 and in 2021, 4,28, 278 cases were reported.

NCRB data states that 31 percent of husband/family cruelty, 20 percent of humiliation of women, 17 percent of kidnapping and 7 percent of rape were registered against women in the country in the year 2021. Total cases were registered 4 lakh, 4 lakh, 28 thousand, 278.
