In the last few days, the prices of tomatoes have started becoming costlier than gold and silver. Tomato prices are on fire in the market. Tomato rates have reached the seventh sky and have become Rs 350 per kg. Because of which a vegetable trader has become a millionaire.

Where on one hand people are troubled by the expensive prices of tomatoes. At the same time, due to the high cost of tomatoes, some people are becoming millionaires and millionaires. Recently, a businessman from Pune has claimed that he has earned 2.8 crores by selling tomatoes. The businessman now has 4 carats and tomatoes and wants to take his earnings up to 3.5 crores.

A farmer named Ishwar Gaykar says that he has not earned this in a day. The farmer told that he and his wife have been growing tomatoes on 12 acres of land for the last six-seven years. Many times they have also suffered losses due to this and many times the expectations have suffered a setback. The farmer told that in 2021 he had suffered a loss of Rs 18 to 20 lakhs but we did not stop. He said that this year tomatoes were planted in 12 acres of land. He sold 17,000 carats of tomatoes, the price of which ranged from Rs 770 to Rs 2,311. That's why till now Rs 2.8 crore has been earned.

The farmer told that at present we have a stock of 4000 carats. If counted, this year our earnings will reach Rs 3.5 crore. He said, our family is happy with this work and is getting the blessings of the elders. He said, it would not have been possible without the blessings of the elders and the help of his wife. My wife also works with me in the farm. Everyone is happy with the price they got for tomatoes.

Gaikar said, I used to think that tomatoes would be sold at Rs 30 per kg, but this season the luck changed. Gaykar is doing farming since 2005. His father also used to do farming. Earlier, he used to grow tomatoes in one acre only. Later, when laborers were available, they started planting in 12 acres. Gaykar also cultivates onions and flowers. Please inform that the price of tomato has reached more than Rs 200 in the country. However, now the government has fixed the wholesale price from Rs 90 to Rs 80 per kg.
