According to WABetaInfo, this feature will be available on both iOS and Android platforms. Users will be able to take advantage of this in the latest version of the app. Currently, sending a message to an unknown user or making a WhatsApp call requires saving the number.
WhatsApp has currently started the "Open Chat with Unknown Phone Number" feature for some users. At the same time, the company has not yet made any official announcement regarding this feature. It is expected that soon this feature will be available to all WhatsApp users and they will be able to take advantage of it by simply updating the app.
This is how you will be able to chat with an unknown contact
- First of all update the latest version of WhatsApp.
- Now click on the “Start a new chat” button on the app.
- Then type the number you want to call in the search bar.
- Check the number given in the list and click on the option of “Chat”.
- Now start a conversation by sending a message.
