At this age, the fear of osteoporosis and other bone-related diseases is also increasing, but by following some methods prescribed by the doctor, you can prevent bone diseases. Let us know about this in detail.
Dr. Akhilesh Yadav in the Orthopedic Department at Max (Vaishali) explains that due to wrong eating habits, people are facing problems like weakness of bones even at a young age. Bone health can be maintained through proper diet and exercise. For this it is necessary that you take a diet with more calcium. In this, milk, paneer, black gram and greens can be included in your diet.
Vitamin D is very important
Dr. Yadav says that a lot of deficiency of Vitamin D is being seen in the young generation. Due to the deficiency of this vitamin, the bones are getting weak at an early age. In such a situation, people are advised to spend time in the sunlight. Vitamin D deficiency can be overcome by using egg yolk and dairy products in the diet.
Exercise daily
People think that only the body is made by exercising, but by exercising daily, your bones are also strong. If you do jogging or weight lifting exercises daily, then the growth of bones is better. Try to do at least 150 minutes of aerobic activity in a week.
Limit alcohol consumption
Dr. Akhilesh explains that excessive consumption of alcohol also weakens the bones. Due to this, the bone density starts decreasing. It also causes calcium deficiency in the body. Along with this, it also keeps reducing the bone formation. Apart from alcohol, smoking is also harmful for bone health.
