A petition was filed in the Supreme Court against famous standup comedian and actor Anubhav Singh Bassi, on which the court refused to hear on Monday. Petitioner lawyer Farhat Warsi accused Anubhav Singh Bassi of derogatory remarks on courts and lawyers.
The Supreme Court made strict comments on the petition. Expressing displeasure with the lawyer who filed the petition, a bench of Justices SK Kaul and Sudhanshu Dhulia said that despite practicing for 20 years, you are filing such a petition. The court said don't you have any better work to do.
