Tata's trust will now be on Apple iPhone, the first Make in India phone will be launched

Apple has partnered with Tata Group to make iPhone 15 version phones in India. Not only this, the Make in India phone of this new series of Apple can be launched at the end of this year.

Tata Group, one of the country's leading industrial houses, has now started making Apple's iPhone in Bengaluru after salt, needle, plane. Now the first MakeinIndiaphone will be launched soon in the country. According to a report, Apple has partnered with Tata Group to manufacture iPhone 15 version phones in India. Not only this, the Make in India phone of this new series of Apple can be launched at the end of this year. Earlier companies like Foxconn, Pegatron and Luxshare have been assembling iPhones in India, but now Tata Group has also joined the race.

Tata Group will be the fourth company to make Apple's iPhone in India. Tata Group has completed the acquisition of Wistron's Indian production line, where the iPhone 15 version of the phone will be assembled. Tata Group has acquired the company's product line, so it will become the new contract partner for iPhone manufacturing in India. Taiwanese company Wistron has a plant in Narsapura outside Bangalore.

The company wants to reduce dependence on China

The Tata group will assemble a small part of the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus for Apple in India. Apple will assemble only 5 percent of its 2023 iPhone models. While the rest of the companies – Foxconn, Luxshare and Pegatron will have a primary stake in it. Apple had already made it clear that it wants to reduce its dependence on China. That's why Apple is insisting on making Apple's iPhone in India.

Assembling will be double benefit

Apple has chosen India instead of China. The reason for this is that there is a big market for smartphones in India. Also, India is developing as a technology sector. In such a situation, assembling of iPhone 15 in India can be of double benefit. The Apple iPhone 15 series is expected to be launched by the American company Apple in September this year.

Foxconn to invest Rs 4,116 crore in Telangana

Apple's supplier Foxconn is going to invest about Rs 4,116 crore in Telangana. Telangana's Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao has announced that Apple's product maker Foxconn will invest $500 million in Telangana and Foxconn's plant will be set up at Kongar Kalan in Rangareddy district near Hyderabad.
