Apart from Akbar, if anyone was influenced the most by Salim Anarkali's love story, it was the Rajput princess Maan Bai. She was the first wife of Jahangir. It was Jahangir who gave her the title of Shah Begum, but he could never give her the respect that Maan Bai had once imagined.

Maan Bai gave birth to Khusro

Even after his marriage to Maan Bai, Jahangir used to indulge in alcohol and women. Meanwhile he fought some battles, but he was more infamous because of his bad habits. Meanwhile, Man Bai gave birth to Khusro. Salim did not improve even after the birth of the child, so Emperor Akbar got him married twice more. Man Bai broke up after both these marriages. When Salim and Anarkali's relationship became public, after Akbar it had the biggest impact on Maan Bai. Due to this his mental condition started deteriorating.

Committed suicide because of this

Maan Bai's mental condition had deteriorated. That's why one day Maan Bai ended her life by drinking a large amount of opium. Historians believe that Manbai had taken this step because of Jahangir, Jahangir Nama also mentions this suicide of Manbai. Although the reason was not explained in this, it has been written that Maan Bai was mentally ill, that is why she had started drinking alcohol in excess. After the suicide, his body was buried in Khusro Bagh, Allahabad.
