Karnataka Elections 2023: 'They can't defeat us, that's why...' PM Modi targets Congress at Ankola rally

Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting while campaigning in Ankola in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. During this, he took on the Congress.

PM Modi Rally In Ankola: After a week i.e. on May 10, voting is to be held in Karnataka. Its results are to come on 13 May. Before that, all the political parties are engaged in campaigning fiercely to make the voters in their favor. In this sequence, on behalf of the BJP, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Ankola, Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka. Here he targeted the Congress fiercely.

He said, “The opposition only knows abusive politics. They cannot defeat us, that's why they abuse us. People of Karnataka reject the politics of abuse and all voters will teach Congress a lesson for abusing me. We have to make Karnataka the number one state in the country. For this you have to vote for BJP.

'Congress has lost public trust'

PM Modi said, “Congress has lost public trust due to its decades of misrule. Hence, false accusations and false guarantees. Now this is the only recourse left. Even today Congress is ready to eat 80 percent commission in every scheme of Karnataka. While accusing the Congress, he said, “They (Congress) gave ration to 4 crore 20 lakh fake names. Gave gas subsidy to 4 crore fake names, sent money to 1 crore fake names in the name of women welfare. Scholarships were being sent to 30 lakh fake students.

'Congress has lost the rights of tribals'

Talking about tribals, PM Modi said, “Congress used tribals only as vote bank and deprived tribals of facilities. The Congress did not even allow the tribal leadership to come forward during its governments. This is the reason why today the tribal society in the whole country is determined to teach a lesson to the Congress. He further said, “The Congress had inserted around 10 crore fake names in government papers in every nook and corner of the country. Where would the money they get go? This money was going into the pockets of corrupt leaders sitting from top to bottom of Congress.
