Liver disease: Liver related diseases are increasing every year worldwide . Bad eating habits and bad lifestyle are one of the main reasons for diseases occurring in this organ. The report of the World Health Organization states that liver disease is becoming the third biggest cause of death after heart attack and cancer. In India too, the patients of liver disease are increasing every year. Every year about 5 lakh new cases of liver cirrhosis are coming in the country.

After this is the number of fatty liver disease. In India, 20 to 30 percent of the population has become its victim.

Fatty liver problem is becoming fatal

Dr. Subhashish Majumdar, Director of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Max Hospital Vaishali, says that fatty liver disease is increasing due to wrong eating habits. This problem is becoming quite common in cities. This disease occurs due to accumulation of too much fat in the liver cell. If a person has more than five percent fat on his liver, then his liver becomes fatty.

In most of the cases, this disease occurs due to the consumption of alcohol. The matter of concern is that this problem is not detected for many years. Gradually this problem becomes liver cirrhosis and in many cases patients also become victims of cancer. Liver gets damaged due to cirrhosis. In this case, a transplant may also be needed.

Malignant liver cancer

Doctors say that liver cancer is very dangerous. In many patients, it becomes difficult to identify this disease on time. Most of the patients also avoid getting cancer surgery. This often happens when the tumor becomes very large. However, due to some problems in the stomach, this disease can be easily identified. One of the major symptoms is prolonged pain in the stomach especially after eating.
