Somewhere Water Metro and somewhere Neo Metro; Modi government engaged in making a golden journey for the people

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to dedicate India's first water metro to the country on 25 April. The Modi government is paying special attention to the means of transport. The development of any village, city, country becomes possible only when the connectivity there is better. If the connectivity of a city is not good then its development cannot be possible. The biggest business hub of Kerala is in Kochi.

Kochi city of Kerala is situated in the port. Here big boats are used for traffic and business. Now Water Metro is going to run here soon. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has also termed it as a dream project. Water metro is no less than a boon for cities like Kochi. In this, safe people can travel in less time. It will be completely eco friendly.

Light Metro

Metro cannot be run in all cities on the lines of Delhi, Lucknow, Bengaluru. That's why the concept of Light Metro was brought. Its cost will also be less and the infrastructure for this will also not be very expensive. The government is planning to build Line Metro in Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Srinagar of Jammu. For this, rail tracks will be made on the roads and light metro with three coaches will run in it. Its stations will be like bus stops. But it will be small. The government is focusing more on the convenience, comfort and safe travel of the people. In this metro system, three hundred passengers will be able to travel at a time. Its rent will also be less and it will not harm the environment in any way.

Neo Metro

You will remember that for the first time the driverless metro was trialled on Delhi's Magenta Line. It was flagged off by PM Modi himself. That's why he had said that Neo Metro will be started soon. Neo Metro is completely different from the common metro. Its wheels are of rubber, like those of buses. It will be completely electric. Its coaches are like a bus. First it will be made in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Regional Rapid Transit System

Thousands of people come from Meerut to Delhi everyday. They work here and return in the evening. For this, Rapid Metro is being run for the first time. Its complete preparation has been done. Metro stations are also ready. The distance from Delhi to Meerut is 105 kms. This distance will be covered in about 45 minutes by Rapid Metro. Now it takes up to three hours.
