Sara Ali Khan shared her life experience in a program held at the Global Indian International School in 2019, saying, 'I was rejected from Oxford University, which is in England, which was my dream and I Couldn't get into it and thought the world was going to end it. That day I didn't know what to do. I called my mother crying like crazy and said, Mom I got rejected from Oxford and I don't know what to do and then Common Apps came and I came to Colombia. After this I spent three years in New York... those three years were the best years of my life.
In this quip, Sara Ali Khan is further seen saying that she did not go to Oxford, but she was more happy in Colombia.
