Virender Sehwag believes that KL Rahul is a much better player than Sanju Samson. This is because he has played Test cricket for the Indian team and has also scored centuries abroad. He said, 'If you talk about setting up in the Indian team, I believe KL Rahul is better than Sanju Samson. He has played test matches and scored centuries in many countries. He has done well both as an opening batsman and in the middle order in ODIs and has also scored runs in T20 cricket.

Praising KL Rahul, the former cricketer said, 'KL Rahul has returned to form, he scored runs in the last match. Yes, his strike rate may not live up to people's expectations, but his form is a great sign. Rajasthan do not have any other fast bowler other than Trent Boult who has pace or is very dangerous. They have dangerous spinners, but if KL Rahul bats for long, he will definitely play them.
