Prayagraj News: A big news is coming out from Prayagraj. Here the dead body of Deputy CMO Sunil Kumar Singh was found hanging in the hotel room. Sunil Kumar Singh was a resident of Varanasi. His body was found today in the room of Hotel Vitthal in Civil Lines. First thing in the morning, when the hotel staff saw the dead body hanging on the noose, they informed the manager about it. The manager informed the police and the in-charge CMO about the incident. On receiving the information, CMO Dr. Ashok Kumar and other officers reached the spot.
It is being told that the police reached the spot at around 10.30 am. The door of room number-106 of the hotel was opened with the master key. The forensic team is collecting evidence in the room. Dr. Sunil Kumar Singh was originally a resident of Pandeypur, Varanasi. He was the nodal officer for communicable diseases. His wife is also a doctor by profession. Seeing the condition of the dead body, the health department officials have expressed apprehension that it is not suicide but murder.

At present, the police officers are engaged in the investigation. On getting the information, the DM and Police Commissioner of Prayagraj themselves reached the spot. DM and Police Commissioner also took stock of the situation on the spot. On the other hand, the police commissioner has ordered an inquiry on the allegations of health department officials. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem, while the family members of Deputy CMO Sunil Kumar Singh have been informed about it.

He used to come and go from Varanasi everyday. If he used to stay somewhere in between, he used to stay in a hotel between Prayagraj to Varanasi, but he did not stay in Prayagraj city.
