A heritage city is going to be built near Mathura-Vrindavan on the Yamuna Expressway . Preparations are underway to build a templein this city on the lines of the famous Akshardham temple in Delhi. Along with this, a 100 feet statue of Krishna will be installed here. Apart from this,a high-street market like Dilli Haat and a village like Shilpgram of Udaipur will be set up in this heritage city . This city will prominently display the states of North India.

Cultural area proposed in Heritage City
In this heritage city, it is being considered to make O-2 Arena on the lines of Kingdom of Dreams of Gurugram and London. For this, an interactive cultural area has also been proposed here. It will be a spiritual-cultural complex. In this the life and times of Lord Krishna will be displayed. Its main attraction will be a 100 feet statue. Among other important things that will happen here, there will be an exhibition space telling the teachings of Krishna.
The interactive culture center to be built in this heritage city will have slide and sound shows on the lines of Akshardham temple in Delhi. An automated boat has also been proposed in the museum. Arun Veer Singh, CEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority gave this information, which will give shape to this project.
Art and craft market will open here on the lines of Delhi Heart. Please tell that there is a rural arts and crafts complex in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It was constructed in the year 1989. It will be built on a 70-acre campus in the middle of Aravali. The Heritage City project will also have an amphitheater to host festivals at regular intervals.
The project work will be done in three phases
The project will be developed in three phases. Arun Veer Singh told that the first phase will be between 2024 and 2027. It will be developed over 445 acres around the riverfront and will focus on a temple complex and a religious village. The second phase of this project will be between 2028-31. In this, the focus will be on the expansion of the hospitality sector. So that the tourists coming here can stay for a long time and can participate in big cultural programs.
In the second phase, 182 acres will be developed. And the third phase will be between 2032-2034. An area of 126 acres will be developed in this. It will focus on specialized institutions that offer courses in Vedic science, performing arts, yoga and ayurveda. Explain that in the revised DPR, the length of Greenfield Expressway connecting Heritage City to Yamuna Expressway has been reduced by 700 meters to 6.8 km.
