Canada: Khalistani fundamentalists are fiercely targeting India. One such case has come to the fore. In fact, Khalistani fundamentalists threatened to kill and attacked the head of an Indo-Canadian organization in British Columbia. The victim herself has lodged a complaint with the local law enforcement regarding this.
The organization's president, Maninder Gill, has lodged a complaint with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), claiming that he was attacked by Khalistani fundamentalists. Gill says that this threat was made after a reception organized in Ottawa in honor of the High Commissioner of India.
Other members are also getting threats
In his complaint, he claimed that he was receiving constant death threats and cited the 778 area code mobile number as the identity of the culprits. Not only this, the head of the organization also disclosed that the members of the organizing committee are receiving similar life threats.
Will be killed like Ripudaman Singh Malik
He told in his complaint that they are threatening that he will also face the same fate as Ripudaman Singh Malik. Ripudaman Singh Malik, a businessman living in Canada, was shot dead in Surrey. Ripudaman Singh Malik's name surfaced in the year 1985 in the kidnapping case of Air India flight. However, he was acquitted in 2005 due to lack of evidence. In this incident, all the people aboard the flight were killed in the air due to the bomb blast.
Maninder Gill told that this program was organized last month at a convention center in Surrey, British Columbia. High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma, was supposed to attend, but the event was canceled after overcrowding, leading to stampede and chaos.
