MP Govt jobs 2023: Now transgender category candidates can also apply for government jobs ( Sarkari Naukri 2023 ) in Madhya Pradesh . Till now government jobs in MP had male and female category only, but now the state government has made transgender category as well. In such a situation, now the candidates of transgender category have become eligible to apply for all the jobs of the state government.

Till now there were only two categories male and female for candidates seeking government jobs through direct recruitment process in the state. An official said that under the Madhya Pradesh Transgender (Protection of Rights) Rules-2021, the state government issued an order on Friday to create a separate category for the transgender community in direct recruitment in jobs.

This system has started in these states

Along with this, now the option of transgender along with male and female will also be available in the application form for government jobs. Earlier last year, the West Bengal government had decided to allow people from the transgender community to apply for government jobs under the general category.

In November last year, the Mumbai bench of the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (MAT) had directed the state government to reserve one post of police sub-inspector (PSI) for transgenders.

India's first transgender judge Joyita Mandal had earlier told reporters that reservation in government jobs for the transgender community is very important. Mandal said that the entry of transgenders in sectors like police force and railways would change the attitude of the society towards them and help them progress in life.

At the same time, in the admission of medical and engineering colleges of the state, now a separate merit will be made for the students studying in government schools. This has been done to increase the number of students of government schools in medical and engineering colleges. These things were said by CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan during the Vikas Yatra in Ujjain on 23rd February.
