Indian companies are not afraid of AI, first Tata .. now Narayan Murthy said this

Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy: Infosys founder Narayan Murthy said that artificial intelligence has made life easier. He said that this technology cannot replace humans. Earlier, Tata has also said a similar thing about platforms like ChatGPT.

Narayana Murthy Infosys: Nowadays artificial intelligence ( AI ) is being discussed all around. ChatGPT launched last year has increased the interest of people in this sector even more. In such a situation, a question is arising again and again whether AI will replace humans, that is, whether there is a danger of job loss due to increasing use of AI. Different types of reactions are heard on this. Narayan Murthy, the founder of Indian IT company Infosys , has also clarified his stand regarding AI. According to him, this technology will not be able to replace humans.

On the occasion of the 67th Foundation Day of All India Management Association (AIMA), Murthy said that artificial intelligence has made life easier. He said that humans will never allow technology to take its place. While computers have helped bridge the gap in many areas, AI is fulfilling its role as an 'assistant' tool.

India should use AI

Pointing to N Chandrasekaran's book 'Bridgital Nation: Solving Technologies People Problems', he said that countries like India should use artificial intelligence. Chandrasekaran is the chairperson of the Tata group. According to media reports, Murthy said that humans have "mind power" which no machine can compete with.

Tata also agreed that there will be no reduction in jobs

Earlier, Milind Lakkad, Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) of Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS), has refused to consider platforms like ChatGPT as a threat to humans. He said that artificial intelligence tools will work as colleagues and they will not eliminate jobs.

Computer prompts

Murthy also said that AI will give humans space and time to think more creatively and productively. However, humans will feel that there is not enough time and they will never be satisfied. He also reminded people of the initial apprehensions at the time when computers and smartphones were invented.

He said, “Many people once thought that all these computers would make us more free. This has not happened. In the end, he said that the human mind is one step ahead of technology and is capable of becoming its 'master'.
