Let us tell you that in the cold winter, the Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi started again from Tanda in Punjab on Tuesday morning. The Punjab phase of Congress's march from Kanyakumari to Kashmir started from Sirhind in Fatehgarh Sahib on Wednesday. Congress's Punjab unit chief Amarinder Singh Raja Wading, senior party leaders including Harish Chowdhary and Rajkumar Chabbewal were seen with Rahul Gandhi. The yatra rested for the night in Mukerian.

Gandhi was once again seen wearing his famous white T-shirt. During the visit, he met a group of women and posed for photographs with them. The former Congress chief had said on Monday that the yatra is getting tremendous response. He targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government on the issues of unemployment and inflation.

The yatra will end in Srinagar on January 30.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra, which began on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu, will conclude in Srinagar on January 30, where Rahul Gandhi will unfurl the tricolor in the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. This padyatra has so far passed through Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

The yatra was stopped for 24 hours due to the death of Congress MP Santokh Singh Chowdhary on Saturday. Chaudhary had suffered a heart attack during the journey. He was cremated on Sunday in his native village Dhaliwal in Jalandhar. Yatra was also stopped on Friday on Lohri festival.
