Faheem Nazir Shah, who is coming on foot from Kashmir to Delhi to meet PM Modi, said- 'I am his fan'


Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir): Faheem Nazir Shah is walking from Srinagar to Delhi in the hope that his 815-km journey will attract Prime Minister Narendra Modi's attention and get an opportunity to meet him. Faheem Nazir Shah, 28, who works as an electrician in Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar, said, "I am a big fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi." 

Faheem Nazir Shah reached Udhampur on Sunday after covering a distance of more than 200 kms. Shah, who hails from the Shalimar area of ​​Srinagar, reached here after taking a brief break during his visit that started two days ago. He said that his dream of meeting the Prime Minister at the end of this difficult journey would be fulfilled. 

Shah said, 'I am going to Delhi on foot to meet him (Modi) and I hope that I will be able to attract the attention of the Prime Minister. It is my dream to meet the Prime Minister. Also said that his efforts made in the past to meet the Prime Minister did not succeed. Shah said he has been following the prime minister on social media for the past four years and his speeches and actions have "touched my heart". 

He said, 'Once when the Prime Minister was giving a speech at the rally, he suddenly stopped hearing the 'Azaan', due to which the public was amazed… That gesture of our Prime Minister touched my heart and I became his admirer. Asked about the changes after the scrapping of special status of Jammu and Kashmir and making it a union territory in 2019, Shah said the change is visible as Prime Minister Modi's focus is on Jammu and Kashmir.
