From June 1, the method of payment by check will change
Bank of Baroda is going to change the way of paying by check for customers. In fact, to avoid being a victim of fraud, the bank has made Positive Pay Confirmation necessary for customers. The positive pay system is a kind of fraud catching tool. According to bank officials, while issuing bank checks of Rs 2 lakh or more, customers will have to confirm the details of the check under the positive pay system.
Under this new system, when a customer issues a check, he will have to give full details to his bank. Bankers will cross-check these details before paying with check. If everything is correct then the payment will be done, but if there is any problem in it, then the bank workers will reject the check.
Income tax website will not work!
Even though the date of income tax return has been extended, people want to do e-filing ahead of time. However, if you are thinking like this too, then you will have to stay for 6 days. According to the Income Tax Department, from June 1, 2021 to June 6, 2021, the e-filing service of the department will not work.
Keeping in mind the facilities of the taxpayers, a new portal of Income Tax e-filing is going to be launched. This portal will be more convenient than the previous website. Data migration from www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in to the new portal www.incometaxgov.in has been completed. The new portal is going to be launched on 7 June.
New price of LPG cylinder!
It is also possible to change the price of LPG, ie LPG cylinder, from 1 June. Usually every month oil companies release new prices of LPG cylinders. Many times it has been seen that even 2 times in a month, companies have changed the rate. At present, the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 809.
The cost of a 14.2 kg cylinder in Chennai is Rs 825, while in Kolkata it costs Rs 835.50. In addition to the 14.2 KG cylinders, the prices of 19 KG cylinders can also be changed. But it is not necessary that the new prices will be released on June 1. Many times the rates remain the same and then in the next few days companies issue new rates.
IFSC code will be changed for Syndicate Bank
Syndicate Bank has been merged with Canara Bank. According to the information recorded on the Canara Bank website, the IFSC code of Syndicate Bank will change from July 1. Syndicate Bank customers have been advised to update the new IFSC code by June 30. Information about the new IFSC code will be available on the official website of Canara Bank.
